Second Report [Video] Baby Troubles (backdated to 21/6)

 [Miss Pauling is sat just outside the Ruins of Alph, accompanied by her Absol, Eevee and her newly hatched Ponyta. All are looking quite curiously at the baby who's spread across the floor, unsure what to do with itself.]

Does anyone know how to teach a baby Pokémon to walk? He just hatched and... well, I'm not too sure what to do with him, other than put him into a Pokéball.

It's got to be dealt with sometime, though. [She smiles, a little nervously. Cassie never had these problems...]

It looks like it has the same kind of body as a deer, so if Pokémon are like other animals it should be able to walk on its own by the end of the day. Animals don't need to be taught how to walk, they'll learn after a while. It might move slower than an adult for a while though, so you might have to walk slower.

Cassie had no problem with walking, so I expected it to be the same.

Would it hurt to put him back in his ball before he learns to walk? [She's in no hurry, but she was researching.]

Why would you keep him in a ball if you don't have to? What do you need to do that's more important than him?

Because it's much easier carrying a pony in a portable ball than by hand.

And I was busy researching. I'm in no rush, but if this is going to take all afternoon, I'd rather do it back in the city.
